Support staff needed

We're currently looking for two, maybe three new support staff to help out with support on the forums. We're concerned at the number of unanswered threads and would like to get that number down with more reliable support coverage.

This is not a reflection on the current staff members who are doing an excellent job, we just need more staff who can give a commitment to provide quality coverage two to three days a week.
Valuable member retired

In our latest Management Team meeting we have come to the conclusion that will have to move along without one of our most valuable leaders that everyone knows as PMM.

We have great plans ahead for PHP-Fusion and that means a lot of action in all departments. Life just comes as it is... so I guess lack of time, probably also lack of a perfect health made PMM rethink his plans because he let us know he won't be able to keep up with all our action so for now we wish him all the best, we thank him for all the contributions and hopefully things will change for the better sometime in the future.

PMM, take care of yourself and thank you for all the great stuff! ;)

Code of Conduct Update

Please note, the Code of Conduct has been updated from today to include...

We ask that all members read it.

3.2 Products based on PHP-Fusion

We are pleased to find out you consider building your own product using the PHP-Fusion core. However, it should be clear to everyone that PHP-Fusion is the foundation of your product and what you distribute is a modification of the core, adding certain features you deem important for yourself and/or your user base. On top of that, you should understand and respect our work by advertising your product in such a manner it doesn't undermine the integrity or quality of the PHP-Fusion core. This is called loyal advertising.

See ReadMore or the CoC itself for full text. If you have any questions, pls contact a staff member.

Update on ModDB next generation [Update 2]

Just a brief note to let you all know what's going on behind the scenes with the ModDB development. As you know, the three main sites are to be merged this year which means the ModDB and ThemeDB will also be merged. So, Myself, Barspin and slaughter have begun work on the new "AddonDB".

That's right, after the merged site is up and running with the new db, Mods will be in future referred be to as "Addons". This new Addondb will host not just existing mods, infusions, panels, etc but, themes and general graphics as well. Members will also be able to submit news cat images, banners and any Fusion related graphics.

Work has really only just begun, but we will be adding a lot of new features including an Authors Dashboard enabling Addon Authors to edit their entries for updates, etc.
