This will just be a short update on why the mods site was taken down.

Our server administrator discovered high load times on the MySQL server. Therefore we took the site down, while we tried to figure out the reason behind the overload. And now we are back. Thanks to the hard work from the crew behind PHP-Fusion.

The MODB Database, will be undergoing maintenance over the following weeks. It will mostly be smaller improvements and bug fixes. However, as we progress, we are planning to add new features and improve old ones.

This is to be taken as a notification of near future short circuits in the MOD DB. If Errors should account, please use the error reports to tell us about them. Thank you.

Being Team Leader for a site of this size is no easy task. It has it's bright and dark sides and is awfully time consuming. I have been leading this site for almost a year now and I am realizing I do not have the extra time to for fill my duties as Team Leader any more as I have been asked to lead the PHP-Fusion Development Team and we are currently making the next version of PHP-Fusion.

I am from this moment stepping down as PHP-Fusion MODs and Infusions Team Leader and promoting Flyingduck as my replacement. He is a very good guy who have been loyal to the PHP-Fusion project for many years now and I have absolutely no hesitations by doing this, he deserves this as a recognition for all the hard work he has been doing for our community.

PHP-Fusion has been a target for a lot of spam comments by users which are mainly bots. They started registering before May and begun spamming about a week ago. Common for them all was that they were registering with @maul.ro main accounts. We have therefore seen it necessary to block further registration for all @mail.ru mail accounts.

If you are trying to register with an @mail.ru account please contact us using our contact page.

Many of you have seen the Staff List we use on this site, and some of you have asked us if we could make this available for download. We haven't and the reason for that has been security, we have some national and international support sites running this infusion so to stay on the safe side we decided not to release it.

But a user named Qwertz have recently released his replica of the Staff List and made it available for anyone to download through his post in the Beta Forum.

This is still a BETA version so there is no guarantee of any kind but it looks very promising. So check it out and give your comments and feedback.
